The main event for WWE Crown Jewel will be the potentially epic clash between WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.
However, the six-man match against Bloodline may be what everyone is talking about on Sunday. Roman Reigns and The Usos will need another member to even the odds against Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu.
This brings me to the first two things on the list of five potentially big things that could happen in Crown Jewel.
Return of the Scholar
Paul Heyman will return at some point to play another major role in the storied history he helped propel to the top of professional wrestling. We don’t know when he will return.
Bringing Heyman back to the Bloodline storyline in Saudi Arabia would be huge for WWE, the annual Saudi show, and professional wrestling as a whole.
Hiculeo comes with him
For weeks, I’ve been predicting that Hikuleo would join Reigns and The Usos as their fourth son. I still believe that things will move in this direction. Also, I think the best way to bring him into the fold would be to introduce Heyman.
No one in the business is better than Heyman at putting talent over. If WWE wants Hikuleo to make an impact, linking him to Wiseman is the best approach.
Tiffany Stratton puts her money in the bank…on Liv Morgan
We’ve seen the constant teasing of Tiffany Stratton cashing in her Money in the Bank money on Nia Jax, but with Rhea Ripley out of action for an extended period, WWE needs another strong female presence on Raw.
Stratton moving to Raw to feud with Morgan for the next few months makes sense.
Gunther defeats Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel
Who needs the Crown Jewel win more, Cody or Gunther? Both men seem to have a strong position in the WWE pecking order. However, Gunther lost his Intercontinental title outright to Sami Zayn, and still has some room to build him beyond being the King of the Ring and the reigning World Heavyweight Champion.
If Gunther is also the Crown Jewel Champion, he would be on a level that would cement his position as the most feared heel in professional wrestling.
Nia Jax pumpkin Liv Morgan
Making Nia Jax look even more dominant would be a smart move. She could be set up for an epic feud with Jade Cargill or Bianca Belair in 2025, and that program would have even more value if a statement win at Crown Jewel further legitimized Jax’s title reign.
